Do I need to see an orthodontist/dentist regularly during treatment?
Our transparent aligners are designed to minimize office visits. Through virtual follow-up with our experts, you receive regular updates on your progress. However, if a physical check-up is required, an in-person appointment may be recommended.
Can I eat and drink with my aligners?
Aligners should be removed before every meal or drink (except water). This prevents staining, deformation or breakage. After eating, it is advisable to brush your teeth before putting your aligners back on.
Are the results permanent after treatment?
Yes, but to maintain your results, it is recommended to wear a restraint (a special post-treatment aligner). This prevents your teeth from shifting again.
Is the treatment painful?
Smile Club aligners apply gentle pressure to gradually move your teeth. You may feel a little discomfort for the first few days with each new aligner, but this soon disappears.
